I downloaded the tutorials and when i tried to look at one it wanted a password. does anyone know what it is?

newvitae ... which tutorials are you refering to? .. I've had a look at the tutes in the forum tutorials (and they were ok) .. I even downloaded the tutes from Marks site and they worked too [confused] ... I'm sure if you supply more info someone here will help you further

Ya namvet is right.
I didn't password any of the PDF files of the tutes.

You may need to download/install the latest version of the Acrobat Reader from Adobe's site. It's free though and only takes a minute to install.

Name which files are doing this for you though. We'll check em out anyway.

Hey Ian? Do you have the latest reader? Or what version do you have? Just out of curiosity. :B

Try out the new feature in v.6 .... let Acrobat read the file out loud for you.

I came across it by accident, thought there was a ghost in the machine when it started speaking to me!

Wendy, Have you tried: View > Read out loud.

This is available on the V.6 Reader. Maybe it is a Mac feature, dunno?
