I agree with everyone else, its seems you've added some colour to it and then put either a Texture or a CD4 Render aroundand coming off the ball. Try and add more into it and put more effetcs into the Picture.

Well i agree to with everyone else that the effect off the ball is very nice. I like the idea.
Put i think you shouldn't add more effects. The idea is master.
