Hi, I'm new here and would like to ask my first question.
I've been using photoshop for a while but lately whenever I open a photo not created or altered by photoshop I get the following message.
"embedded Profile Mismatch". I can click on some options, to either use the embedded profile convert it or discard it. I never used to have this pop up so my question is how to I stop this from happening everytime I open an image? I think I must have changed something in my preferences or something but I'm not sure what I did.
Ozzy ??You need to open up your color settings - Edit/Color settings. (Control/shift K shortcut).
About half way down there are some checkboxes which say "ask when opening" if you uncheck these that should sort your problem. Its also probably best to leave "preserve embedded profiles" option selected because you don't want Photoshop converting your images to a new working space without asking!
