Perhaps ask Gare on the Inside Track forum (bottom one)? he's the fonts specialist.
Personally, I'm not good at remembering fonts and names of them is even worse!

Actually... it's not really practical to ask what the name of any font is these days... there's so many that look the same but have different names because of incarnations galore.
I could tell you the name of that font -- in reference to the one i have -- but try to find it under that name on the Web... chances are slim.
Better question would be... " does anyone recognize this font and know where i might find it". 
And then i'd say... "ya... i recognize it, but don't know right off where to find it".  | |

Yeah, looks familar, but it's not one that I recognize by name... 
I've downloaded your sample tranquil222 and will have a look for it, when I have a chance.

The font's name is Davida LL.
A great website I found a while ago, especially if you have a graphic example, like you do, is http://www.whatthefont.com
Just upload the graphic and What The Font scans it, and gives you a list of possible suspects.

The best (good fonts and cheap!) legitimately licensed collection on the web which contains Davida is found at... http://www.fontsite.com/Pages/OrderForm/OrderForm1.html
The CD catalog can be downloaded in PDF format here... http://www.fontsite.com/
This compilation does not have all the URW family which includes the SC version (I think that was included in Nova's ArtExplosion 750,000) but I didn't buy it from MyFonts which has numerous versions at premium prices. http://www.myfonts.com/ | |
