A good beginning. I like what you have done at the top. Not sure about the bottom metal. The black imperfections bother me and the texture is a bit harsh. If you softened it with gaussian or motion blur it might not be so jarring. I'm also thinking you may wish to color your lettering the same hue you used on the picture to make them pop out more.

Just my two cents...

very effective layout stylish

i personally don't like sites where u have to scroll left and right. maybe you should consider shrinking your images a bit to make it IE width. rather than having to scroll all the time
