 Reality of Barton
After hearing who Big Sam is going to sign, I'm quietly confident about next season and bringing some respectability back to the club with a new chairman too. After being the laughing stock of the league for many years it will be more of a relief than anything else to have a 'quiet' season where eastenders will have a few more dramatic story lines for once.
Mark Viduka is a player i like very much but, Barton concerns me. he is a good player without a doubt but, having a release clause in his contract stating his contract can be terminated, if he is convicted makes me wonder why we are signing him now before the trial. Surely it could potentially be a waste of 5.5million.
