Okay from reading the past few competition threads, I feel that I have to let everyone know about one simple rule (and I think Vlado touched on this):
THE CLIENT IS ALWAYS RIGHT.
Now, I hate that rule as much as you all do, but it's true. I need everyone to stop complaining about missed deadlines and extensions from the contest starters. If someone misses a deadline, this is what you need to do:
1) PM me
2) PM me
3) PM me
I don't want to see people getting "agressive" with the contest starters, it won't help anyone out. So if there is a problem... do one of the above 3 steps.
Now that we have that covered, continue to enjoy the contests and make sure that you understand that they are paying you, so always take that into account.
I know in the past I have gone against Contest starters, but in hindsight it was a stupid thing to do.
But too many extensions of a deadline or a complete lack of response from the Contest starter should be clamped down upon. No matter how busy you are, you can spare 5 minutes to come, and at the very least, inform everyone of the situation.
