Thanks for the feedback Pabs, i tried a lot of dodging/burning, but the outcome's not looking much different. I totally agree with what you said, but understanding's one thing and implementing's another. Also added a stadium in the BG, moved the credit bar to the bottom and made some minor changes to the text.
I think its looking much better blended in now, i think it was looking out of place because of a cyan color balance i had put on top which had made his skin kinda green, now its the colour of the light.
It's a pretty nice style you've got going on there just that the render needs to blend into the wall i.e look at the top of Trez's head and make him a part of the shadows & light etc...
