what i don't like :
1. the brush on the bg
2. the colo0rs of the brushes
3. the rectangle background.
4. the render lighting.

what i like :
the left bottom part, where the black meets the other colors.

What you need to improve :
1st, background. if you need to improve your bg slowly step by step, start from a 400 x 150 sig.
2nd is the render effects, play around with brushes, or for first, white brushes.
