Default A squad to win the Premiership

There are only two trophies that Liverpool haven't won since the Millenium:
- The Club World Championship
- The Premiership

No-one cares about the Club World Championship except Brazilians, and Asians. So I think we are all agreed that we have to make the Premiership our number 1 target.

Here is my ideal squad, which I feel we could build by the end of September, and will bring the Premiership trophy to Anfield for the first time.

First XI:
- - - - - - - - - - - - Reina - - - - - - - - - - - -

- Richards - - Carragher - - Agger - - - - Riise -

- - - - - - Mascherano - - - - Sissoko - - - - - -

- - Quaresma - - - - Gerrard - - - - Malouda - -

- - - - - - - - - - - - Eto'o - - - - - - - - - - - -

Second XI:
- - - - - - - - - - - Padelli - - - - - - - - - - - -

- Finnan - - - Hyypia - - Paletta - - - - Aurelio -

- - - - - - - - - - - Lleiva - - - - - - - - - - - - -

- - Pennant - - - - Garcia - - - - Kewell - - - - -

- - - - - - - Kuyt - - - - - Amauri - - - - - - - -

Others:
Martin
Arbeloa
Padelli
Anderson
Voronin

Ins:
Richards £15m
Quaresma £10m
Malouda £14m (negotiated down from £17m asking price)
Eto'o £8m + Alonso (total value £25m)
Amauri £6m
Total: £53m

Outs:
Alonso P/E
Crouch £8m
Bellamy £10m
Gonzalez £4m
Carson £5m
Total: £27m

Net Transfer Spending: £26m

Do you think that squad will win us the title?
Do you think the transfers are viable?
What would your Premiership-winning squad look like?

Although the rest is hopefulness/speculation,
Amauri is coming for £6m/€9m - It is a done deal, was completed some time in March. I had a source in Liverpool that knew of this deal at the time, and I have known since. They are just waiting for him to get an Italian passport which should be in the next few weeks. If he is denied a passport, then the deal falls through, as per the agreement with Palermo. If he plays 10 caps for Brazil/Italy (probably won't) it rises a further €3m.
