Before i start can i just say what an amazing array of graphic designers you have on this forum, i've been browsing for a few days and the talent on here is quite extraodinary.
I'm currently working on a website and forum for my amateur football team, the domain is fusionfootball.co.uk and fusionfootball.net. Although i say its for an amateur side the site will also have discussions on professional football etc etc.
I'm looking for 2 header designs, one for the site and one for the forum, they'll be different colour schemes.
The prize for the 2 chosen is $24 per header, and will be paid via PayPal.
----------------- Site Header
Below is a blank template of how the site header is at the minute, and a link to an image preview of how it will be on the site, just to give you a better idea.
As long as it has fusionfootball.net or .co.uk on it somewhere the rest can be left to your imagination, i don't really have a logo as yet, so i'll leave it in your very capable hands. Don't worry about the "The Home of Gios Santos" in the top right of the site preview, that was for testing purposes and won't be there for the final version. Please do not use "Gios Santos FC" anywhere, as this will be changing.
---------------- Forum Header
The forum header will need to be the same width and height as the site header, but the colour scheme needs to be a little different, below is a small shot of the forums colour scheme to give you an idea.
Apart from that, pretty much the same guidelines apply as to the actual site header.

Trickster - looks great mate, keep em coming think you've hit the nail on the head with colours, any chance of testing it with a few other images? like players celebrating goals? i want to try and capture the passion in the game if you get me? looks excellent so far well done
If i like more than one design of each, i may purchase more than one of each, and use them alternating
Minch - im actually suprised at how well that works, as ive said to Trickster can we try and incorporate something to show the passion of the game? without taking away the professional look of it.
I should of really said it in the original post, i apologise, i couldnt think of the words at the time, long day in the office

To be honest i'm not sure what im looking for, my ideas are limited, maybe mess with the font a bit? i dont know to be honest, just be as creative as you want
