I think to enhance yourself as an artist you have to push the boundaries a bit, Do something to it you wouldnt normally do. Hope this helps  |
Ok, what you said got me thinking and i realised that this was just a graphic, there wasn't a concept behind it, nothing. I started off with only one thing in my mind, to improve my lighting skills, and develop some techniques/learn new things - there was no idea/concept behind the design.
I dont WANT to be pathetic, i dont want to ask
ppl to comment, i dont want to bump my threads but i really wanted feedback on this - i dont mind
criticism, infact i love criticism and i normally post a v2 after the feedback i get.
And yeaha, i love simple walls, but something which looks simple isnt always the simplest to execute. It took me around 55 layers to finish this one. The lighting matches the colours of his jersey and blending the red and blue light took me quite a lot of time.
Anyway i put some thought into it now - added clouds, and an aircraft, enhanced the lighting and the theme's supposed to be that he's flying high in the 'clouds' like an 'aircraft'.
