Hi there
I've been reading some tutorials out there about creating a barcode, and they're all good. One day I was messing with my Shift key, and I ended up creating a barcode too.. [shocked]
Here's how I "messed" up:
1. File > New (Any Size),
2. New Layer,
2. Pencil Tool (or press B) small size, 2 - 3 px depending on how you wanted your smallest barcode to be,
3. Draw a horizontal line from left to right (starting point doesn't matter, right to left also works ) Don't worry if the line's not straight,
4. While still pressing the mouse button, Press the Shift Key,
5. Drag vertically down/up doesn't matter (you won't see any line at this moment because you're still pressing the Shift Key)
6. Drag mouse slowly while pressing and depressing the Shift key a couple of times to the lower part of your starting point (just as if you're drawing a box)
[saywhat] Instant Barcode?
Now you can crop the image to a size of your liking.
PS: I'm sorry if it sounds a bit confusing ;\ (poor explanation)
Here's a link to some pictures description.. (Because I don't think I can link up an image from Geocities straight to here [saywhat] ) Instant Barcode
PPS: I don't know about you guys, but I think this is pretty fast, hehe.. hope it's useful in some way. Thanks
The noise filter is sometimes creating more noise than you really need.
In that case go to Image/Adjustments/Threshold... and move the slider until you have the amount of noise you need
