If you saw the comments on my Rooney and Scholes walls you'd understand . Basically they got really positive comments but the render quality was the main downside. Thanks for the comment btw, CiaranD.
One huge noticable flaw - the cut! The knee, shin region looks really bad. Keep the grass from the original picture - it will blend in much much much better. Love the lighting, and the typography (although i like the typo in your other walls more).
About the render, i'm sorry but it is a bit low quality. The face has blackened up too much. The render looks really streched. Its not an improvement on your previous walls, but thats not saying that its a very good wall. Keep it up!
i think it's great, dtunam.I am liking ze colours, render effects and text..the blurred text at the bottom is a fresh addition. My two critiques are for the render May be you should desaturate the main render's face and give more contrast, and sharpen a bit the big one in the background and give more contrast, besides that it's great
Oops, I clicked the eye on the light face layer, so that would be the problem! I've tidied up the shin/knee area too. The render isn't stretched, maybe it's the perspective or the original photo, but that thing is not stretched i can tell you that for nothing . Thanks for the comment, it has helped me a lot.
edit: Thanks for the reply, Wnnrssn. I'll make a v3 with those changes soon.
it's class apart from the render.. the cut looks really poor and you should have left some of the grass under the knees so it doesn't look like that. it's got a lot of potential man, i'm really liking your recent works, not sure if it's as good as the Rooney one though, although i really like the blue here. keep at it man
Thanks everyone. Is v2 any better, or still the same problems apply? I might give up on this on start on a new wall, I'm really eager to get it 100% first time. Atm I end up starting something, working really hard on making some aspects of the wall great but miss out on others. I've got a week off next week so I've got some more time to perfect my work, hopefully it'll be my best yet. Thanks for all the support, much appreciated.
