Why wasnt this thread created earlier? Haha.
Anyway..not a bad night for English football so far. Spurs just finished with a 2-0 win (Ghaly and Berbatov), and earlier Blackburn won 2-1, coming from behind with Bentley scoring a last minute goal.
Newcastle kicking off now. Obafemi to grab a hatrick. Yeah.

Zulte Waregen made a quite good game and beat 3-1 Sparta Prague, i saw the game live on Eurosport International and a quite liked how the belguim team played.
I saw 15 min highlights from Palermo - Newcastle and i have to say Palermo missed alot of goals and should have won the game cause they were the better playing team, but football is a game of goals and Newcastle scored one so they won it.

France better win the Euro Cup 2008 because they deserve it, they should have on the FIFA World Cup 2006.

He didn't nearly miss, the keeper nearly saved it. There's a subtle difference  The keeper was diving the wrong way anyway, it would have been lucky if he had got his foot to it.
