Text Help!!

Hey guys I've been doing stuff in photoshop and I keep trying to use text but it puts a huge space in between each letter automatically even when the text is like 6 points, it gets extremely spread out. Any ideas or help? Thanks in advance

Well, goto Window->Character
Then you'll see This icon in the new opened window:

You have to hit zero button on your keybord and ur ready
