Hello, i'm in a bit of a mess at the moment, i really want to do Graphic Design at University ( I live in London btw)...but because my work is based solely on Graphics the unis have said that i should go and do an art foundation course as it will give me a good platform and i will build a decent portfolio with other works not just graphics/software stuff, now im having trouble finding an art foundation college or even a graphic design college.
So does anyone have any advice on how to go about this, or anyone that is graphic design student/graduate would really help.

sound like i'm in the same situation mate. I want to do Graphic Design @ Uni big time, but I will only have 3 A-levels, none of which include an art related subject (Geography, PE and Sociology). Every course I have looked at wants either A-Level art or preferably a foundation degree in art and design.
I'll take my chance at applying straight to uni without anything, I'm building a portfolio, but my personal statement will be most important
Yeah thats right Teekay. Graphic Design is a combination of Traditional Art & Computer Art, Graphic Design isnt sitting at a computer for 8 hours using PS. There is so much more than that, and i'm glad to an extent. Because it proves how creative you actually are, Computer Art is too controlled and you can't always be free with your ideas.
