Ohhk, thats nice for a first wall. But, there are many areas where you'll have to improve.
Brushing on the render - looks random and very out of place, it looks like you've done it for the sake of doing it. Take it off. Reduce the size of the render, it looks stretched (or remove the blur if you've applied any). Try a simple render effect, like a duplicated render set on overlay.
Background - I dont mind simple backgrounds, but this one looks empty, try blending a picture of a stadium or fans, or of Van Persie himself in the BG (desaturate it and put it a low opacity).
Text - The textwork has to change. Be creative, go to deviantArt, look at the typography section, get inspirations. Look around
soccer-art itself for inspirations on text.
One more thing, the placement of the render should be on the right and the text on the left, as RVP's looking towards the left. Would give it much more flow.
