Hi All,
Love the new site Keeper, it looks great.
I am using PS 7 and I have a series of History snapshots 6 to be exact and I was wondering if there is a way to be able to go back to say No. 3 and change something without losing snapshots 4, 5 & 6.
No. 3 snapshot is where I have selected a series of areas so i can change and experiment with colours . I have added other items to the photo in 4.5. & 6 and would hate to lose them and have to construct all of the them again.
Thanks
Editing 1 snapshot, will not affect the others. I would suggest that after you edit the snapshot in question, that you take another snapshot. This way, you can always revert back to the "pre-edit" state.
hello, make sure that you don't change the color mode (RGB, CYMK...) or the size of the image, otherwise, the history tools (history brush...) won't work between the different sized/moded steps!
Thanks Wendy and Pierre, that's great news I left my machine on all night with PS open as I didn't want to lose all of the History until I'd been able to make the changes to my photo.
Thanks again.
I was able to make a colour change to that snapshot as you both said I could but have run into a small glitch.
I did as you suggested Wendy and made another snapshot of the colour change making it snapshot No. 7.
On snapshot No. 6 an item which I had eliminated on the picture was now showing up on No. 7, fortunately it is not a big deal I can redo it. However I was wondering if there was something I should have done to prevent it from happening.
Wendy I replied to your comment about not understanding but for some reason it didn't show up and I've just now noticed it.
Anyhow not to worry I got everything sorted out now and it would be too complicated to explain what my problem was about the different snapshots.
