Default Merging Layers?

Good afternoon,

Does anyone know how I can merge layers while still preserving their blending options? Hmm... let me rephrase - Is there any way I can merge several layers with different blending options & still preserve the same finished look?

Thanks in advance!

Alt - Merge Visable.

Perhaps I should have checked the help files first. Way to go - Genius!

If you insist on using Merge Visible, please don't save over working PSD file with the layers intact. That just plain sucks.

Or, with only he layers you wish merged visible, SHIFT+CRTL+ALT+N (new layer) then SHIFT+CRTL+ALT+E (merge visible).
