I'd have to agree with king keao on this point. Liverpool and Chelsea are both teams that don't play the posession game. Manchester do, but their possesion is not always so centered in the opposition's half as tonight's game has shown. Italian teams play short passing games with a lot of key posession in the middle and drive it on the flanks or straight up the gut.
Take for example the Liverpool-Chelsea series. The posession was there.. but the passing and the position of the posession was not what I would call a posession minded game by either team. There are a lot of long balls and a lot of passing through the defense, but once it gets to the attacking third, the posession ends.

What is Milan's league worry? They are in third place with Lazio one point behind them. They are 10 points behind Roma. They're 7 points ahead of Palermo. If Lazio pass them into third place, then who really cares? They still qualify from 4th to the Champions League, and i don't think Palermo will be able to catch up to them.
They are exactly in the same position as Liverpool. Liverpool is one point ahead of Arsenal and 13 behind Chelsea. Except, they have more to worry about since Everton and Reading are 2 points behind them and Portsmouth and Spurs 3 behind. So they have a lot more pressure to worry about in the next few games compared to Milan.
