Roma 1-0 Man U at halftime. Amazing performance by Roma so far this game and absolutely nothing from manchester united. Totti is doing very well with his passing and Chivu is doing a very good job on the defensive side. But I've been really impressed by Roma this game and they deserve to win the game thus far. Scholes ruined Man U's chances as well.

Agreed. Scholes was stupid to get sent off, especially with two needless fouls like that!
Chelsea 0 - 1 Valencia at half time also.
It's going to be interesting.

Finished 2-1 for Roma. It was all about Ronaldo on that equalizer in my opinion, and a good pass by ole. But I feel that Roma deserved more than the 2-1 at the end of this match by their great performance. They slowed their pace down a bit to the end, otherwise it would have been 4-1 or so.

I havent seen Manchester play so bad and without any idea in attack for along time ... Ronaldo didnt have a day and Scholes was the main reason why United lost the game in the first half for making those 2 stupida fouls ...

Scoles was awful, all his passes that where going more than 10 foot away from him where horribly misplaced, and it obviously frustrated him. You'd think at the age he is though he'd have more sense. People ridicule 18-20 yr old Rooney for things like that.

I don't think either team had an outstanding performance, Roma didn't really deserve to win imo first half roma where more dominant..Second half United where. 1 of their goals was due to a horrible deflection the other a spill by Van Der Sar.

I was impressed by rooney yesterday especially, and solskjaer. Both of them slugged their guts out for the team closing down people any time possible. Ronaldo only really had one moment which was an amazing moment that led to the goal. Giggs looke doff colour for me too.

Really annoyed at Scholes though.

I would have to say that Roma dominated the whole game and not just the first half. I mean even if you look at the statistics they had more posession and 26 shots to 8 of man u's. There were more times in the second half when Manchester was dangerous compared to the first half, but compared to Roma... not so much. They even had less posession second half.

And the second goal I wouldn't blame on Van Der Saar. It was a monster of a shot and he couldn't have pulled it in. But your defenders stood and looked at Vucinic and how he scored, they didn't react. When I see Manchester get scored on, that's often the case. The defenders block and watch and react too late and then it is all up to VDS. They could have easily cleared the ball in that situation.
