Roman is like the ideal owner, though. He doesn't meddle in footballing matters unless necessary and has provided the funds with no strings attached. If Chelsea are as successful as United in the 90s or Liverpool before that, there'll be major commercial benefits. I really don't think Roman's going to leave Chel$ki high and dry. But, again, only time will tell .

Roman will sell Chelsea to some American for a pathetic fee when Chelsea go bankrupt in 5-10 years. The big players will have left or retired, the American businessman will have no idea and Chelsea will finally relegate and be gone from our memories.

that or after chelsea are sold they'll get leads'd
anyway as for the xabi-carrick thing: im a united fan and i still rate xabi higher than carrick. carrick still hasn't shown his quality as a player in the top 4 prem teams and i think this season he might be on par with xabi.

Dirk Kuyt was AMAZING! Better than all my expectations. He's an all-action player. Just seemed to be involved in every Liverpool move. Strong header of the ball, amazing passer (ie the pass for the disallowed Bellamy goal).
He's such exactly what Liverpool need.

Heh, Dirk surprised me
good thing he did well, i was really hoping for it. He seems like such a nice guy, really animated too. Love those kind of players. Here's hoping for him to prove me wrong about his future in the prem |

I told you people that when Rafa dishes out 10ml+ for a player, he will be really good, look at Kuyt. I know this is his first mach, but most of the time, the first match is a bad one for the debuts, but not for Kuyt.
BTW, when I siad that when Rafa dishes out 10ml+ for a player and he turns good, don' mention Cisse, he was Houllier's signing but Rafa gave him a chance.

Totally agree with you ix. Trust Rafa, blindly! He's really transformed the team. The squad looks really strong, and he's built it in such a way that we don't have to sacrifice any tournament.
