As a Ger, and a follower of Scottish football in general, I must agree with Hoidy. He was always moderately overrated. But again as a Ger, I'm glad to see him gone.

cmn,Hoidy,you worshiped him,without him you were shit,althout he was a bit overrated sometimes,he was still the machine of your team,haven't u jumped on his goals in the champions league or Rangers,it was obvious he was tired of playing for Celtic,6-7 years,and most of Celtic fans are so ungrateful.Funny.

I gotta argue this, there are the people who don't follow Scottish football and they hear the names like Boruc, Nackeredmotor, JVH, Gravesen and at a point Petrov. But Celtic can survive without them [maybe not Boruc] but they can. They have players who hustle for 90 minutes like Aiden McGeady, Shaun Maloney, McManus and Miller who don't get the credit they deserve. Really these big names aren't much.
PS I can't believe I just complimented a Celtic player.
