Default Post your sandwich builds

So I've started making sandwiches beyond just stacking a bunch of obvious stuff, and I just went to the market and bought a bunch of random stuff that I thought would go good on a sandwich

pepperjack cheese
mushrooms (dunno what kind they are, I just picked the kind that I had pictured in my head)
ham
green bell peppers
tomatoes
pickles
lettuce

I toasted the bread with the mushrooms on top of the cheese, and just stacked on the rest afterwards, but it feels like too ridiculous a sandwich. The bell peppers and pickles dominate the taste, and I hardly notice the rest. I feel like I'm missing something important, or doing something wrong. Who has a personal build they are proud of that I might try? (preferably using some of this stuff)

Interestingly enough, I have not tried that. I'm more of a fan of fruits and veggies, and meat is generally limited to like 1 slice or something. I really should try a meat-oriented sandwich.

+ Bacon
+ Lettuce
+ Tomato
+ Sliced Jalapenos
+ Some Pepperjack
+ Maybe a tad of Monterey Jack
+ BBQ sauce
+ One really thin slice of ham
Finally, the beef and buns.

Yeah, it sounds like a smoking pile of hell, but it tastes like a glowing slice of heaven.

It depends on what I am feeling like. These are my two favorites.

Toasted wheat bread with melted cheese.
Tuna fish
lettuce
tomatos
extra pickles!
Oil and vinegar and salt and pepper.

Toasted wheat or anytype of multigrain bread with melted cheese.
turkey
bacon
ranch or mayo
avocados or guacamole
lettuce
tomatos
pickles

I do like mushrooms but usually on like roast beef or something with mozzarella cheese.

My personal Favorite:

2 Slices of White bread
Mustard (yellow or deli)
Roast beef (A lot)
Cheddar Cheese (A lot)
A little bit of shredded lettuce if you have any.
Extra Extra Pickles. (The type of pickles matters a lot here. Boars Head pickles are by far the best, don't go with cheap dill pickles, as they're just normally limp and somewhat sour, and ruin the sandwich)
Maybe some yellow peppers or Jalapeno's depending on my mood.
Hot Press the whole thing after it's all together. Kinda like a grilled cheese with some pressure on the top to seal all the flavors together/heat it all up.

Yes, I eat a lot of Publix Subs, but the same concept can be done in an at home sandwich =).

Another favorite sandwich of mine, this one requires a sandwich machine though.

2 Slices of white bread, outsides buttered
Meat of your choice (Ham/Pepperoni usually works for me)
Pizza sauce (Spaghetti sauce will work in a pinch, but not as good)
Cheese (Any kind of cheese works, from american, to shredded cheddar and beyond)

Put it all together and put it in your sandwich machine to cook up. So good. Like homemade hot pockets, but better. MMMmmmm.
