Sanby, it sounds like you mean the 'copyright info' that gets attached to a file. Refer to Gauss' reply to Bob at the start of this thread!

failing all the ideas given there is a html command that stops ppl "right clicking" and saving any images on your web page to their hard drive,i dont have it off hand but ill find a link to the site i found b4 giving you the line of code to type in and when some one goes to right click it says what evere you ant it to say in a prompt box and no one can save it,this is possibly the best way to keep your files with out any one else taking them. [righton]

Bottom line... if you "show it", they will grab it...

Thanks, Gurch...this worked very nicely. I noticed if I have a thumbnail and you try to right click it works ok, however, when you click on the thumbnail which opens the larger picture one can right click on the larger picture and do a "copy" or "save as". Any ideas if its possible to protect the larger image?

yeah Bob just do the same as you did for the thumb nail to the larger image...... it will give you the same sort of protection...... still not 100% but nothing is ;\

put the javascript into the <HEAD></HEAD> of your page or for just one image put it into the tag of your image
<img src="images/filename.jpg GALLERYIMG="no" alt="ImageName"> just as he said on the site
