Rafa Marquez already got his passport, so theres a bigger chance of Santos playing w/ Barca, he is a great talented player but then again I don't like the way he tries to immitate or look like Ronaldinho myself as a mexican feel ashame of that, why not try to look like himself and try to make a name for himself. Another Issue with Santos is that he is not planning on playing the MEX National Team because he can go to Brazil and play there parents are brwzilians, (which I doubt theres ton os young players) So as far as right now Dos Santos has a future in Barca but not a certain future with a National Team, if he goes to SPA or BRA I would call him a traitor.
Well you're now being unrealistic, you and gabo1. Dos Santos has no place in Barcelona, not when players like Ronaldinho, Messi, Eto'o, Gudjhonsen, Saviola and Giuly ahead of him. My guess is that he will be in the first squad of some team, not Barça.
He is a great player, but don't overrate him. He plays in Barcelona B, of course he will be better that the other players he plays against.

It's not that he doesn't want to play with the mexican national team, the thing is that Ricardo Lavolpe (mexico's ex coach) never called him to play for the senior national team. He also didn't call Alex Vela, Patricio Araujo, or any other U-17 that won the world cup in Perú. I heard Hugo Sanchez (Mexico's new coach) already talked with Gio about calling him to play with the senior team, and i think it's just a matter of time, the same with Alex Vela.
As for gio trying to look like ronaldinho, i don't think it's something that is shameful, and it's totally normal for him to play like the figure he looks up to. Let's not forget that he is young and with time he will develop a style of his own (every player does).
You got a point there, and I think your right, but lets look at it this way in Barcelona there are players that they say to be "good" but really areant, for example take Gudjohnsen, could be a great player but Barcelona only uses him as a cherry picker. Ronaldinho and Eto might give him the passes but Barca does not need somebody like that, but Hey he was worth some money and Im asuming Barca could use him in another way.
