I have an image of a person and the skin tone is wrong. All my efforts to correct it using hue/saturation, desaturate just the reds, levels etc. have helped but not solved the problem. Is there a way in PS to sample the skin tone from another (correct) image and tell PS to use (replace) this color in the selected area of the image I'm working on?

Grab another photo with proper fleshtones and get to work.

In a lot of cases, funky fleshtones means there is an over-all colour problem with the photo. Read through this:

Steve gives an execellant example of colour correcting and entire photo in there somewhere.
