I'm a Newcastle fan, and I was wondering - when Mourinho buys some new defenders, will Paulo Ferreira be up for sale? And if he is, do you think he would be a good signing for Newcastle?

I'm expecting jokes about "average player... average club etc." just make sure they're good ones if you're going to at all!. As well as giving your opinion of course.

I never thought some people thought about footballers that way. Anyways I quite like Ferreira and he has done very well especially against Ronaldo in the FA cup final we won. He has been good last season but this season he looked average and at times disappointing. However in the last 10 or so games this season he has looked good and recovered from his injury. I hope we keep him but if Jose decides to sell him I'm sure he will do well for the toons.

I dont think so - He seemed to improve towards the end of the season and had to fill in at Center Half when terry and Carvalhio was out....He had Ronaldo in his pocket in the FA Cup final I think Chelsea will hang onto him for another year
